Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') applies to anyone who accesses Relay. Violating this AUP can result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Prohibited content and activity
You may not use the Service to transmit, store, or facilitate any content or activity that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or harassing.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others.
- Promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, exploitation of minors, or illegal drugs.
- Solicits or facilitates phishing, identity theft, or unauthorized access to systems.
- Impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents your affiliation.
- Sends unsolicited bulk communications ('spam') by phone, SMS, or email.
- Distributes malware, ransomware, or any harmful code.
- Violates the Messaging Policy, CTIA guidelines, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or any other applicable law.
System abuse
- No reverse engineering, scraping at scale, or circumventing rate limits.
- No attempting to access another customer's data or our backend infrastructure.
- No load testing, penetration testing, or security research without prior written approval.
Industries that require approval
Some industries carry heightened compliance risk and require written approval before use of the Service, including but not limited to: cannabis, firearms, debt collection, payday lending, sports betting, adult content, and cryptocurrency exchanges.
Reporting abuse
Report violations to abuse@relay.app. We investigate every credible report and may share information with law enforcement when appropriate.
